Enter main content here. The City of Adelaide 24 Squadron was stationed at Mallala post World War 2, alongside 34 Squadron. C.M.F. pilots were trained at week-ends flying the famous Mustang fighter.  A pilot was killed when his Mustang crashed north-east of the Township.
