Hettie Alvina Williams married Sydney Garfield Tiller in the Mallala Methodist Church on 5th September 1936. The petite bride wore a gown of white marocain and lace fitting to the figure and over the hips and merging into a train. The pintucked panels over the hips created an elegant design. The draping at the cowl neckline was made of lace. The long tight fitting sleeves were also draped with lace to the elbow. An insert of lace featured in the centre of the train. The tulle bridal veil was worn with a halo of orange blossom.
